Good News presents a great opportunity to hand someone a tract and say, “May I give you some good news?”
During a recent visit to Brooklyn, I held out a Good News tract to an older gentleman. My request to impart some good news was met with a rather sober response, “There is no more any good news.”
I replied, “I can understand why you say that, but this really is good news.” The Spirit also seemed to speak to him. He reached out, took the tract, and said with seriousness, “I will read this.”
Good News is a tri-fold pamphlet that clearly presents the Gospel and closes with an invitation to believe in Jesus.
