"...there is more to the Christian life..."
God’s reviving presence is still the answer! This is true for the longing heart—the heart that knows there is more to the Christian life than what it is presently experiencing. This is also true for the longing church—the church that knows that without the manifest presence of God there is no way to have Acts level impact.
Revival has been my passion and focus in study and preaching for the last 25 years. The bottom line is experiencing Jesus! This new blog approach will focus on experiencing Jesus both personally and corporately. I believe in order to really live, you must access and experience the very life of Jesus Christ.
The articles will address the Spirit-filled Life (experiencing Jesus personally), revival and awakening (experiencing Jesus corporately), the Holy Spirit (the agent who manifests the life of Jesus), and faith (the access to the life of Jesus). In addition I may occasionally address related matters such as hindrances to revival. This will demand openness and honesty about common hindering ideas prevalent among God’s people. Also, I will highlight relevant resources.
To begin with I will post at least one article per week as well host a weekly Q&A column. Then we will add video posts. We plan to eventually post an entire video series on the major revivals of church history. Also, I will be incorporating guest articles from those with a specific niche of understanding.
The blog venue will facilitate:
- Communication where communication is presently taking place—on the internet
- Opportunities for interaction—questions, comments and discussion
- An archive of revival articles—revival truth and accounts past and present
Are you sensing there is more to the Christian life than what you are presently experiencing?
